Students Please Bring:

  • Plastic side scraper
  • Pallet knife (straight blade) 4-inch blade
  • Piping nozzle cleaning brush
  • PME Seamless Piping Nozzles – (two of) 0, (two of) 1, (two of) 2, (two of), 3 (Please bring PME, the piping nozzles need to be seamless so no other brand/manufacturer)
  • Parchment paper for piping bags
  • No 2 pure Sable paint brush (no nylon mixes)
  • 2 knee high stockings (15 - 20 denier)
  • Small pair of scissors for cutting paper
  • Small container/glass for water
  • Turntable
  • 9-inch box to carry cake home in
  • Pencil
  • Damp cloth
NY Cake Academy will provide:
  • 6-inch square cake dummy chamfered top edge (4-inch cake depth)
  • 9- inch square (ie a cake board which is 1/2 inch in thickness)
  • 20 oz fondant per cake dummy
