NY Cake Academy, formerly known as The Chocolate Gallery, is the pioneer of cake decorating in the New York metropolitan and tri-state area. Originally founded by Joan and Lisa Mansour in 1989, it was the first place to bring cake decorating, chocolate classes, fondant classes and a full line of baking supplies to New York City.  After over 20 years in the baking industry, NY Cake Academy and Lisa Mansour are committed to teaching the fundamentals of classic cake decorating as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest techniques and trends that top chefs are using across the globe.
